What we use cookies for

PeerBear uses exactly one cookie: a session cookie that keeps you signed in after you click your sign-in link. It's set by Supabase, our authentication provider, and is required for the site to know who you are between page loads.

What we don't use

We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't run any analytics service that sets cookies in your browser. There's no cross-site tracking pixel, no ad network, and nothing that follows you off PeerBear.

Your browser storage

Beyond the session cookie, your browser may keep small pieces of local storage (e.g. a remembered filter or draft) purely on your device — this never reaches our servers and stays private to your browser.

Managing cookies

Because the session cookie is required to stay signed in, blocking it will simply log you out. You can clear it any time via your browser's settings — this won't affect your account or listings, only your current sign-in.
